What is the purpose of taming megalania when it can´t leave the cave?

There used to be a trick with bringin an argy to such spots and grabbing. Used to be able to sometimes glitch them out.

Outside of that, perhaps breeding 2 in a cave to make a cub to then walk out.

Ah, that would be South Cave 1 or 2, don't remember the exact number, but the only creature I've ever been able to get out of it is the night walker. I generally don't tame anything in it unless I plan on returning, at which point I just leave the tamed creature in the cave. Most of the other caves you can bring creatures out of though.

Anyways, I'd definitely agree with trying to breed and getting an egg. After hearing about this I'm even more glad for the 'dino pick up' mod the server I play on is running.

Well...the boss fights can be hard if one is not prepared. And I forget which boss unlocks the transmitter. But, if you are able to make one, getting the dino out of the cave would be easy. But, it might just be easier to breed it in the cave and take the egg out.

I tried it with my quetzal without luck, I don´t own an argend so far, so I´ll need to tame on first.

I guess the breeding idea is the best, I´ll definitly try that out.

Still it is bonkers that you can´t get it out the common way. Even the lvl 145 megalosaurus had no problems with the entrance, it seems odd that a much smaller craeture doesn´t fit through it.
Plz Wildcard do something to improve it, either reduce the collider from the megalania or widen the entrance of this freakin cave.

Well, something you did not notice, is that the megalosaurus, is skinnier than basically everything else in the caves. so, it can walk through that point.
