It has more HP so can resist it for longer, and is faster so might stand more of a chance of outrunning it. But even that one can still be wrecked by the leedy eventually.
But when you are offline - the leed can still sink your precious floating base. Couple weeks ago a leed sunk my sunken metal foundation raft while I was offline. It was parked at the sea shore, was even surrounded with behemoth gates (so it was closed al around, approx 10+ foundations from the gates) and a leed still found a way in to sink it. I dont know how, was offline, it might bugged in, but it got sunk.
I regularly see leeds in the swallow water, so we cant even say that seashore is safe. So while Im eager to build a new motorboat base, Im sull reluctant to do it because the OFFLINE RAIDING LEEDS...
- leeds release, everywhere and Op
- patched, reduced amount on map, fixed beach spawns (mostly), lowered damage
- patched again now with the speedboat, faster mroe defense, also added new harpoon (old balista bolt) with better armor penetration so will kill leeds faster.
they arnt much if a problem now i went around the west coast and never saw a single one.
Leeds still damage it but it has 32k hps so takes a LOT of hits to kill the boat.
Im hoping we can block Leeds completely with foundations and stuff but Im thinking Wildcard thinks differently. So Auto Turrets and stuff are how you protect an off line boat.
