Ocean under the Center
I jsut had my first peek into the ocean under the center, and WOW! Leedsichthys, ichthys, Megalodons, Mantas, and basilos, all in great abundance. i want to set up a base there eventually with a water pen. however, is it possible to get water tames out of the ocena under the center and inot the main ocena, Or are those creatures stranded down there? Please inform.

Are you meaning the underworld, or the eastern trench that was added last patch? If the former, no megalodons spawn down there any more, nor basilos and leedys. Only piranahs, mantas and ichthys should be in that pool...unless you have mods/custom server config?

Anyways, yes you can get in and out of the underworld with water creatures, although I'm not sure a mosa or leedy could fit through the passageways. And you may have to fight through a lot of piranahs and swimming cave creatures to do it. But there's an opening into the river between the middle and south jungle islands, close to the large ruin area.

Come to think of it, not sure a plessie could navigate the river to that hole either, but perhaps it could approach it from the west...

think only way could get stuff out of there is with the tek tier teleporter/transmiter but if doing that may as well have a seperate hidden base for a water pen and just use a bed to travel between them

if its the water underneath the floating island you should be able to use the tek teleporter.

Really? I was under the impression that anything bigger than a plessie couldn't navigate the rivers between the jungle islands, and in one of those rivers is the only water entrance that I know of to the underworld (aside from the waterfalls which of course wouldn't work for swimmers). Good to know though, I'm doing another playthrough on the Center atm on my solo games, so I'll check it out sometime. Thanks for the info.

Yes.

Oooooohhh I get you, sorry I thought you meant the underworld. In that case no, I'm afraid there's no way to swim in and out of there. Teleporters are the only way, as others have already said.

Yes, even plesios can't swim in the rivers, but there's another entrance for the underworld, between the redwood biome and the jungles. There are some islets between; go to the smaller one on the west and face the redwood. You'll find a canyon, where usually a couple mosas live. On the very bottom on the left of this canyon there's a hole; if you follow that path you'll find yourself into the lake below the ruins. Then you just have to find the second tunnel starting near there and you're in the underworld.
Halfway trough the first tunnel there's a sort of air bubble with a little piece of dry terrain with lots of metal, pearls and bugs. It's a good spot to build a base, as it's reeeeally difficult to find (often people don't know this spot) and can be reached only by swimming (but that means you can't live there if you'd like to have flyers).
Sorry for my pretty awful english but it's not my first language.
