Rotten worlds are the best worlds out there (maybe after mouldy ones), and this one fits the bill. It seems to be a test of "what can we do with voxels?", and the answer is: not much. Great tool for good level design, but not as a part of gameplay, especially not as dark.

It seems to lean too much into "oOoOoOo unanswerable mysteryYyYy" with all the masks, and creatures, and ghost things, and deaths; and would've hit a good amount of spooky and mysterious for theorisiers to dig in, if it dialed back a bit, You gotta know when to stop adding things on top of things, and this game doesn't, turning itself into a pizza cutter: all edge, no point.

Still, quite enjoyable. I had my fair share of fun, discovered a few secrets - which is always appreciated - so go spend fifteen minutes digging around meat and looking for notes, it is enjoyable!
