This is a very complex game, so you need to get all the docs and cheat resources.

GAME DOCS

The game docs are accessible from within the game using hotkeys.

For printing, we also include the PDF versions. The Steam installer should do a silent install of shortcuts to these. For some reason it doesn't always do it. See KB64 article[www.3000ad.com] for more info on how to do a manual installation.

These are included in the distribution above, but are also available below.

These are not documented because they are NOT supported for public use. But feel free to use them at your own risk. See the KB64 page above for the link to the game cheats PDF.

Mr. Smart, did you include the old .html appendix? I am unable to find it. Thank you for this release by the way.

Yeah, if you have installed the stand-alone docs as indicated above, look in the folder it creates and you will see a link that says "Universal Combat Appendix.url" then click on it.

That's the really old appendix for the original UC game though; but the info is still current. It just won't include the new Engstrom carrier (I don't think it's there), recent pics etc. As I explained in the README.PDF, we are planning on redoing that for the new website[www.bc3000ad.com] and it will be like the Line Of Defense[lodmmo.com] online assets database.

A minor update has been pushed to Steam related to pages 17, 18 of the tutorial docs. The versions (see above) on our servers have also been updated. Read more here in the comments.

You need to run UCCE20_steam_shortcuts.exe to update your print versions as well.

So, What is the key combo to get out of the in-game manual/tutorial.
Just finished the tutorial yesterday reading it on my 2nd monitor running the game windowed with no issues and love it so far.

As some of you may be aware, the appendix located on the 3000AD website is out of date and doesn't feature data for the Engstrom carrier. These are the stats for it as defined in the OBJDEFS and OBJCLASS files. This was all incredibly tedious, so I hope someone will appreciate it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to locate a couple of the stats.

If you prefer the Blackness of space, download this skybox[www.3000ad.com] file and copy it into the .\gfx folder. Be sure to rename the existing skybox.zip file in there!

This works for both 2.0 and 3.0 (TLC).

Could you enable data file tampering?
I still remmeber BCM stuff 20y ago, I;ve made a perfect BC for me, then you had released a patch adding control sum so I can't edit it anymore. Could you re-enable it please?

I believe they're already disabled. Check the nodding sub group to the right. There's a list of data files for which tampering has been disabled.
