Minor issues with Byzantium which ought to be addressed in 1.3

Firstly, and I think this might've changed after 1.2. However Emperor Andronikos has two daughters named Irene, the one married to Trebizond is correct, however the younger daughter (betrothed to the Bulgarian prince), should be named Maria (I recall this being the case at launch, but maybe I'm misremembering).

Secondly, Dimitrios Palaiologos (son of Andronikos II, uncle of the Emperor) had two children. Though we know the eldest was a daughter, records don't elaborate on the younger, and to my knowldge we don't even have a name for said child. To ensure we end up with at least another child, his wife should start the game maybe 3-4 months pregnant.

Lastly, and it's just a minor detail. As for the randomly generated names for children born, it might be worth adding even a couple more male and female names just to add a little more variation (Nikephoros, Isaakios, Romanos, Euphemios, Anastasios, Alexandros, Giorgios, Leo, Theodosios, Stephanos, Markous, Maurikios // Anastasia, Theophano, Eudokia, Euphemia, Euphrosyne, Leontia, Katerina, Sophia, Stephania, Markia).

Sorry just another thing from some research I've being doing. Dimitrios had a brother, Constantine, who histsorically died in 1333/4, however his son (though illigitimate, one Michael Katharos) would be alive and well at this point (1307 is as close to a birthdate I could find).

Apologies I've encountered a couple more things in my research.

Firstly, one Alexios Doukas Philanthropenos ought to be alive at the start of the game, indeed he lives well into the 1340's. Given the success of his military campaigns in Anatolia against the Turkish Beyliks, he ought to have stats simialr to either Ioannes Kantakouzenos, or Alexios Apoukakos (very high mil, relatively high admin, above average diplo). His wife was Theodora Akropolitissa (Daughter of one Constantine Akropolites, and thus granddaughter of George Akropolites). Lastly on the topic of Philanthropenos, when he recovered Lesbos from the Latins in 1336 (just prior to the EU5 start date), he also recovered the settlement of Phocaea on the mainland (which is presently is a Genoese posession in game), this ought to be corrected in any upcoming patch fix.

Speaking of Alexios Apokaukos, before 1.3 fixed the "Influential Domestikos" event chain, it would often fire giving the trait to Alexios, rather than Kantakouzenos as it ought to. However it shouldn't be forgotten that Apokaukos was a chief Imperial minister at game start (having previously been parakoimōmenos - the Imperial chaimberlain, and prior to that, the Domestikos of the Western themata), and would be soon appointed Megas Doux in 1941. Even if you do nothing else with the character, it would be good if he had a trait (similar to Kantakouzenos) which reflect this, and possibly a small event chain which reflects his senior and inflkuential position, essentially as a subordinate to Kantakouzenos, and thus a leading protagonist in the goverment (and thus the civil war as it historically occured).

Lastly, the Character of Konstantinos Palaiologos (53 years old, son of Anna Palaiologos, grandson of Michael VIII, second cousin to Andronikos III). On the basis of being of the Palaiologoi dynasty and a blood relative of the emperor himself, he should be a character of the crown estate, rather than of the noble estsate.
