Historic World Empires - start in 500 BC and play through to 1837 (feedback welcome!)
Hi everyone! I've been working on Historic World Empires, a total conversion that moves the start to 500 BC and keeps the vanilla ending (1837), so you play about 2,300 years instead of 500.

What it includes: 14 Ages (eight new ones from 500 BC to 1337, plus the six vanilla ones), 600+ new advances, 600+ countries (from the Achaemenid Empire and the Greek poleis to tribal peoples across Europe, Africa and the Americas), new religions and cultures, and a population and geography rebuilt around the ancient world.

Version 1.2 just came out, with rebalanced tribal confederations, starting alliances, ancient place names, German and Chinese translations, and much more.

Requires the Fate of the Phoenix DLC for the Greco-Roman unit art. Please start a NEW game, and play with only this mod enabled the first time.

It's a big project that keeps growing, and a lot of it has been shaped by player reports, so I'd love to hear what you think, what breaks, and what feels off historically. Thank you for reading!
