-- I uninstalled Chrome and Advanced System Care
-- Looked for Incredibar in the registry per http://steamcommunity.com/app/34330/discussions/0/864947668143585653/
-- Uninstall SHOGUN 2
then go in WINDOWS EXPLORER and delete the SHOGUN 2 folder from your STEAM/COMMON folder
-- Change desktop display to 1280x720 (or smaller)
Make sure that your display settings for CHANGE SIZE OF TEXT, APPS, OTHER is at 100%
--RESTART
--re-install Shogun 2 and click PLAY from inside Steam library
***IMPORTANT Let it load, it will seem like it is taking a long time on the first splash screen but let it run (mine took 1 minute to go to the next splash screen). Do not close the game.
Once inside the game, you can change your resolution to a higher resolution (I picked 1920x1080). It will jump to desktop. Change your desktop display to same resolution as you picked. Make sure that CHANGE SIZE OF TEXT, APPS, OTHER is at 100%.
I am going to reinstall Chrome and see if that changes anything. I think the real issue is from resolution and size of text, apps setting being at anything other than 100%
TLDR; Check your resolution and change size of text, apps, other to 100%. The first splashscreen takes a long time to load.
