Games we want that Sega can legally publish

Let's waste time until stable update build have fun and think of games that actually have real chances of appearing in Sega Genesis Classics collections. And I mean the ones that Sega can legally publish and not some dreams. Maybe will even update this list with good examples from you.

No problem ones, as easy as drag-n-drop:

- The Ooze
Was already released in Sonic Mega Collections.

- Monster World IV
It was already released for Virtual Console, Xbox Arcade and such, and it was actually translated! We want that.

Require some work:

- Super Hang-On
Arcade version was already ported to Virtual Console but it had billboard graphics edited to avoid copyright troubles. Now they have to do same with Sega Genesis version.

- Outrun
It uses Ferrari car, but Sega already made ports of arcade games where they got around it by editing car's graphics. Now they have to do same with Sega Genesis version.

- Virtua Racing
Will require developing emulator futher to support a chip which was used in a single game. Might be more effort for result of few Sega nerds buying it to put it away into dusty digital collection.

Require license from other company:

- Castle of Illusion
Will need Disney's license, but Sega already has remake of it on Steam. So huh?

- World of Illusion
Will need Disney's license.

- Quakshot
Will need Disney's license. Sad.

- Super Monaco GP
I think it requires Formula One license.

Not made or owned by Sega, so unknown:

- Crusader of Centy, aka Soleil
Apparently it was made by Nextech, even if by Sega contract. No rereleases ever happened, so I doubt of it ever coming out again.

- Super Fantasy Zone
Apparently, it was made and even published by Sunsoft, even it it's Sega's franchise. I guess it means Sega can't rerelease it without them. It was rereleased on Virtual Console, but quite possibly only because Sunsoft was profitting on VC as well. I don't have much info to be sure anyway.

After Burner 2, Turbo Outrun , Ourun 2019. For Virtual Racing why not 32x version? I think that it is easy to emulate than the actual game that has special chip.

They need release Phantasy Star for the sega master system, that was a good game. And perhaps some other RPG they had for Sega master system like Golden Axe Warrior.

In regards to Crusader of Centry:

ATLUS published it, and i asked if there was any chance they could make a copy of it, or had an old copy of the game file sitting around their office..they been known to publish weird games..even remake them sometimes..but the email i got back from them suggested they no longer own the game file they published...so it is to the original company Nextech to do it..and i have no idea if they even exist anymore..shame really..one of my favoire sega games too..better than beyond oasis imo.

NOTE: I actually asked this about 15 years ago..to Atlus..about the time they published persona 2 on ps1.

Well I'll go by my own collection that I still own that I would like to see in it:

Robocop VS Terminator
X-Men 2 Clone Wars
Battletech
Desert & Jungle Strike
and I doubt these will ever get put on but:
Ultimate MK3
Shaq Fu (I know people hate it but its one of those games I still like )

I did read it, I just dont feel the need to look up if they legally have the rights to put them up. Its more of a desire to have these games, just as I put:

seriously sega should add some 32X title in this , space harrier on the 32X was an almost a perfect arcade port.

it's a shame they've given us the terrible and half baked Space Harrier 2 port instead of the real gem.

I know it might take some doing. But sega and us could benefit from a remaster in the genesis titles of some of their x32 games and other titles befor the gensis. Like porting over their gamegear,x32 and other systems games to the genesis format. I know that would require doing many things but they could add features that wasnt there befor ,update the sound quality and even add in better graphics. Food for thought. Us fans could probly do it if they would let or hire us. Just saying
