It's not giving me the game to play

It's only opening up as a page telling me the events and crap. Where is the game?

When I click "start" the game crashes..

The launch menu / news-updates took several minutes to update the client software. It finally finished and permitted me to click the Start button; however, it crashes everytime I attempt to "Start" it. A colored X appears in my bottom right programs list (it appears to be anti-cheating software) but then disappears and the game has not launched. What is the work around? Can the game be played currently?

Same happened to me. All I had to do was close any software that was open at the time (CoreTemp, Rainmeter, Firefox) and restart Steam.

this game suffers from severe snowflake syndrome.

out of my entire steam library, and 10 + years of steam gaming, this is the only game that had to cry and whine about me running ordinary programs in the background for the sake of anti cheat software i've never heard of, never used, and never will again.

i literally restarted my computer, and disabled half my current running processes just to get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing to shut up and launch proper.

and i was greeted with a forced browser window opening up to their facebook page

I have literally been trying to download the software updates, the download suddenly stopped and what pissed me off even more is the fact the download does not resume. Im trying one more time and if it does the same im giving up on this game.

same here, download in the HIS-starterwindow randomly stops. even worse: after closing the program it starts completely new, and downloads already downloaded packages again. bs.
