I have to agree! But it needs bigger battlefield for bigger ships :D
It's a passion project by one person, so it's not without its weak points, but I got a few dozen hours of decent playtime out of both Stardrive I and II. Stardrive II is the superior of the two in my opinion.
There might also be other relevant games of its ilk, if someone with more of a 4X background cares to weigh in on the subject.
