Multiplayer Server not Working

I've made sure I've port forwarded and even turned off my firewall but my friend cant find my server in the browser or by joining via IP

honestly, setting up an actual dedicated server is quite frustrating and really unnecessary, you can just use one of the existing servers (US, EU, Asia, depending on what's closest to you/gets you the better ping) and host a game there and get your friend to join there

server hosting as a tool is mostly meant as a possibility to do if one desires to bother with the complicated aspect of it, or as a backup way to play multiplayer if the official servers were to have issues or shut down

You need to launch the server from the browser
