Stone Guardians

Is there any reason to killing Stone Guardians?
I've killed a few now, often with heavy losses, and never with any reward.
I don't believe they decrease city income either like others monsters which are often easier to kill and give rewards.

Have you tried ramming it? They pretty much disintegrate under the force of three dedicated ramships hitting simultaneously.

Edit: I guess telling someone how to reduce losses when they talk about how many losses they take is considered off topic now. But fine, in addition to that, killing the Guardian opens up the slot for something more useful to spawn if you're still early enough in the game for that to matter even if you don't get one of the other two tangible rewards.

I remember them giving quite a bit of money if you destroyed them. Maybe that changed/is bugged.

there are three posibility when defeating them, the first is 20k money the second is the massive stone walls, so advanced stone armor. the third is nothing.

after getting the bonus its a 50/50 chance to get 20k or nothing.

I guess I've just been unlucky then.
I've taken out at least 5 and had nothing everytime. Just a site of particular religeous value.

The first one I killed gave me nothing. The second one I killed gave me 14,000.

I have killed one for 20k now.
So it was just really bad luck on my part.
