Region locks DE & AUS - IMPORTANT UPDATE

We're really sorry with confusion that has been around German and Australian digital game copies.

EDIT: Now, we solved one big issue with Valve help. Everyone from Germany and Australia who preordered and ordered the Steam CD-key directly from our website (only), should be able to play the game without any problems.

Though, the game purchase on Steam is locked for those countries.

Sorry again for everything, try to activate the keys, they should work just fine!

What about game Steam Key Codes. Can they be activated on Steam if they are from Germany or Australia now?

Edited the thread. That concerns only Steam keys bought only on Destructive Creations website. Buying keys on Steam is locked.

Already went ahead and bought it through Desura instead, would have just been easier to have just let us buy the Game through Steam. Australia HAS an R18 rating now and it should be pointed out that in 2003, Australia gave an MA15+ rating to MANHUNT! (Granted it was Banned afterwards, but that was an entire year after its release)

Hey devs, I really REALLY want the opportunity to review this game. But due to the region lock, I am unable to. Is there anything you can do with valve to make it so we can submit reviews despite the region lock? I feel it's unfair to gamers from Germany and Australia to not be able to voice their opinions on the game. And despite the region lock, I'm sure many will review the game honestly based on the content, and not on post-developmental decisions.

He's asking to be able to post reviews on the Game's Steam Page which we can't do because as the dev said in the OP "the game purchase on Steam is locked for those countries"
