Hatred

Is this game genuinely bad?
Or did people just hate it because they don't have the stomach for it?

Pretty hard to do when the game doesn't have a demo or trial version. Anyway, thanks.

It was around 6 or 7 out of 10 for me if i had to give it a score like that. It's nothing fancy and doesn't do anything particularly special, it is fun though and i like it's aesthetic. Blowing up cars and structures, diving through windows and driving vehicles all feel pretty good...and it can get pretty tough if you don't make an effort to avoid groups of police officers and the army.

Might not be worth the asking price for most, but look for it on deal if you are unsure.

Stomach for it?? This game is less gorey or graphic than any Call of Duty game or any Zombie game. This game is only controversial because you shoot unarmed civilians. That is it.

i have 200+ games in my library that make this game look like a disney game.

Slitting someones throat in real life is disturbing, this video game is not, nor is that video. This is not controversial in the slightest. Call of Duty has worse scenes. Killing floor has more gore just in their character models. This game is not disturbing or controversial. LOL you need to get out more.

Think what ever the hell you want. It is a fact. Deadpool the video game is far more graphic, you get cut in half, have to cut your own intestine to free yourself, then you fall on top of another guy who goes inside your body.

Wolfenstien you free yourself from a torture chamber and bury a saw deep into a guys chest as blood sprays everywhere.

i could go on for days, i have nearly a thousand games.

Hatred is downright ♥♥♥♥♥ compared to many games. The difference is that the ratings board will let you kill the entire planet as graphically as you want if you are a good guy defeating a tyrannical enemy like Nazi's. But if you kill innocent persons in a top down game with some minor bloody parts you get an AO rating.

I think you are delusional.

You fail to see the line between realism and non realistic kills, Deadpool is totally unbelievable. So is Hatred in a sense, but it has a much more believable feel to it which gives it the disturbing factor. I could watch deadpool rip out intestines all day and whilst it is gorey yes - more so than Hatred, it doesn't convince me to believe it as something that could happen. It's just not realistic in that sense where as Hatred things like this and the style of executions in that game are some what believable. Mass shootings actually happen.

I am sorry dude, but if you find this game vastly more realistic and compelling than other games, then you are a moron. Plain and simple. Also there is no correlation between video games and violence so who cares if mass shootings happen in real life. That is a nonsensicle statement.

This game is a top down black and white game for about 80% of the time. The video you posted was probably several hours of game play spliced together, it doesnt even represent the majorirty of the game experience. And Deadpool is but one of dozens and dozens of examples, like i said most FPS's are far more gorey and disturbing and close up, you know, first person. Anyone that thinks this game is that much more disturbing than other games is simply not using their critical thought skills. But you have the right to be a social justice warrior wanna be, just dont think the rest of us are going to buy your BS. This game is wildly tame compared to nearly every military shooter and zombie game on the market.
