Online Multiplayer?
This game looks amazing! However, the majority of my gaming buddies are spread across the country. Are there any plans to add online multiplayer in the future?

Online multiplayer already exists for this. It's called a cell phone, or skype, or mumble, or teamspeak, or literally any method of talking over distances with little to no delay.

Yeah, you only need voice communication to be able to play, and you're not missing out on anything. Only the bomb defuser needs to see the screen. The rest of the players are only allowed to see the manual, which is available on all devices. I've been playing this with streamers on Twitch and it works really well (the streamer being the defuser of course).

If you're too lazy to look for it:

And how are you suppose to find people to play it with?

Real friends, forums (like this one), other Steam buddies...

Unless it's the same solution every time, how would they read their manual and have it link up with your bomb instructions?

That's how the game works.

The puzzle is constructed in a specific way, and the difficulty is describing it well enough that the person with the manual can figure out wtf you mean and to get the correct information to figure out the solution. The manual always matches up with the game; it even forces you to make sure you have the latest manual.

Technically you could be able to memorize every solution, but a lot of the puzzles are complex enough that it's near impossible; there are lots of small things that can alter the solution, such as the bomb having a different letter on the serial number, or a certain number of batteries.

Easily my favorite puzzle so far is the 'who's on first' one, since it is so devilishly constructed as to cause a million problems in comprehension with homonyms everywhere.

When you first start the game it asks for a 3 didgit code on the cover of the manual that tells the game what manual version you are using. The implication is in the future there will be alternate manuals which may switch little things up and keep all but the most cerebral from memorizing everything.
