Linux Beta Build
Hi folks,

We now have a beta build with Linux support available for testing. There are a few important things to know first:

Linux Is NOT Officially Supported
Do not purchase this game if you only intend to play on Linux! Please please please hold off until we can be sure it's working well on Ubuntu and SteamOS. We will not be updating the Store Page or making an announcement until we're confident the game works well.

Please note that VR is not supported in the Linux version.

Let Us Know How It Goes
We're a very small team with limited Linux experience compared to many here in the community, so we could definitely use some help finding issues and helping other players find solutions. Please post any problems you run into here. And if you can, help out fellow players if you happen to know how to fix any problems they run into.

Note that we'll be winding down for a bit of much-needed rest over the winter break, so we likely won't be able to address all issues until the new year.

Please post all technical issues and solutions in this thread!

How To Get The Linux Build
You'll need to switch to the "linux_beta" branch in your Steam library. You may need to restart Steam to see this. There is no version of the game for Linux in the default branch and so the game will not launch on Linux unless you have switched to the linux_beta branch.

What about [other platform]?
The old sticky post was mostly about OS X and Linux, so we've started a new thread here if you'd like to keep the discussion going.

Huge thanks to everybody supporting the game!

Thankyou so much for developing this version! It worked like a charm when I used fabry's launch options, even mods worked great right off the bat, which I was surprised by.

Launch options:

The in-game graphical options work, so the black screen issue only seems to matter at launch.

On latest Manjaro Linux (Deepin version) with onboard intel graphics. It runs with the launch option "-screen-fullscreen 0" as mentioned above. After that I can set whatever resolution I want and it works just fine. No bugs so far! Great work!
