SPP and Items not Registering
Like the title says I've run through a mission several times now from the main menu to collect SPP (and various items you're awarded for reaching milestones) and after each mission it asks "Do you want to save?", which of course I do. But then I go into the main game and neither the SPP or items are there. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Did you by any chance start secret training before doing the missions? Because I had the same happen to me when I was on secret training. Although I don't know if that is supposed to be that way.

I don't know about the items since this never happened to me, but for SPP there's an issue I've found a way to fix:

While farming SPP in Brionac's mission, I lost almost 40k SPP due to this problem. I left it overnight with the support characters killing monsters while my character was idling (overpowered, so there was no risk of getting killed), then once I finished the mission and saved, my points weren't there anymore after I loaded back into Akademeia.

So I tried to do the following: deactivate SP support in the settings before finishing the mission. I usually did it right before facing Nimbus but it also worked several rooms before that.

From then on, my rewards always showed up once I loaded back to Akademeia. It might have to do with SP characters being killed, which invalidates the points they've earned, so when you deactivate the support, it forces the game to transfer all SPP back to your character.

I'll give that a shot Vinland.

And no Banana. I did the first time and I thought that might be the problem so I quit the training and tried two more times to no avail so hopefully it's as easy as Vinland described.

which spot did you leave your characters to farm SPP?

The big square room in the waterway right after Brionac busts the corridor in the beginning and you have to go down the stairs.

If there is a Marduk and you think it is too dangerous, try going further to the next big room for another set of spawnable enemies.

Finally got to give it a shot and Vinlands method does indeed work. A bit annoying that it'll probably never get a proper patch to fix it but as long as you know what to do it's not a big deal.

So thanks to everyone who responded.

This is the second mission in chapter 3, right? I must be blind but I cannot find this on the missions list, only the first part where you put magicite in. :-/

It's called Operation MA Demolition.

Personally I found The Reclamation of Eibon mission better for SPP farming. Once you invade Toguagh the second area has three soldiers that will constantly respawn. Unlike the flans from MA demolition they have no resistances and your support allies will kill them quickly. You also don't have to worry about a Marduk spawning.

There's a better one in chapter 5, there's one of the missions to command cities and take over Eibon, in the first city you can invade, the first area that has enemies has 3 infinitely respawning soldiers. They die much faster and give the same spp per kill as far as i can tell.

I've actually had this same issue happen twice. I completed a mission from the missions menu, definitely saved, came back, and nothing had been saved. There wasn't even that mark that shows you have completed the mission with the correspondent difficulty. I don't know what causes it but damn it's frustrating.

Thanks but that's what Kev1n said. :)

My people range from 32-35 with my favorite at 38. I was able to AFK farm 11k SPP in an hour by only taking my main with Avoid and Rem with Manalchemy and Curaga on the mission.

Yeah I prefer the Eibon one especially with leveling Eidolons to level 99. The 3 imperial troops all spawn at the door and you can just camp it and annihilate stuff and the Imperial Troops are much easier to kill than Flans even on Finis and your characters are 30 levels below. I also used the place to farm for the Harvest Phantoma, Killsight counts, Killsight title (Devil) and Type-0 title (using Support Personnel for many hours).

Also heres the thing. When support personnels gain SPP and they leave due to their time running out (not dying), then the SPP they earned should be credited to you already if you open your main menu. The SPP displayed at the Report Card at the end of the mission is just there so you can keep track of your SPP progress towards the SPP rewards like SP Crystal/Ultima.
