What are the specials in playing Agito and Finis mode?
Can you guys name the benefits and unlockables if there are any? Special features and such thanks. I just finished the game yesterday. Is there any xp difference? Bonuses and such anything that makes a difference would be great.

If you beat all story missions in Finis (ones marked with Red Vermillion Bird symbol) regardless of rank, you unlock the gold uniforms and if you beat every mission and trial in Finis including the very first and last mission, you get L'Cie mode.

Other than that, it's mostly armory shop unlocks, summons, magic, and accessories.

I mainly use this to look for info. Pretty much has almost all the info you need.

Thanks but i cant understand some texts in it D: It's in japanese or something. Coz i was thinking to do some task in Officer mode still as i did on first playthrough or there's a lot of missable things that can only be on First playthrough? Can i just keep on repeating til i go agito or i should agito on 2nd? I never played this on PSP so this is my first.

Basically don't do Cadet as it doesnt unlock anything and you can always replay all missions except the first and final missions at the Mission menu.

Normally the trend is Officer on 1st playthrough while doing some Agito on the early missions and at least do Finis for the 1st and final mission on the 2nd playthrough. Then finish all missions with Finis (Hey that rhymes!) on 3rd playthrough and onward. Besides you need 3 playthroughs to 100% the game anyway as a certain super boss doesn't appear before then.

You probably don't want to overlevel as the final dungeon scales with your level and gets harder if you're higher. I personally did it at level 54 and had help with SP crystal to make my primary character really overpowered. :)

To farm for an SP Crystal/Ultima spell (which will help tremendously in the final mission), you need 150k SPP (you don't buy these with SPP but they unlock once you reach it). You can easily do this by doing the Reclamation of Eibon mission on Cadet and have Regen and on the second area, just go AFK with a character with Avoid spell (10 hours playtime from the 1st class moogle) near the door where the soldiers infinitely spawn, turn on Support Personnel and just have your computer controlled allies slaughter enemies for easy SPP. You should be able to get all 150k in about 2 nights worth when you go to bed.

In terms of missables, item-wise there's nothing however there are 4 missables in the game and they are cutscenes (shows up in the Rubicus) in Chapter 7. They are cutscenes by talking to Mutsuki, Ryid, Quon, and Carla beforethey become students of Class Zero (although they aren't playable). If you already recruited them before seeing these cutscenes, you can't get these cutscenes anymore in that particular save file. You can prevent their recruitment by not doing their last events in their recruitment. To be safe, just don't talk to them during Free Time and talk to them on the second playthrough.

I thought those four scenes couldn't be missed in the HD version.

Oh that's interesting. I just saw it on gamefaqs and they did fix it.

I can confirm that you can see the cutscenes for optional Class Zero characters even if you recruited them.

Thank you so much for detailed help, i might bump to more questions after i actually get things done on 2nd play. I did finish the game first on officer.

1st playthrough is just familiarizing yourself with the game. I consider it the tutorial, lol.... since all the cool unlocks and milking of the game happens on the 2nd playthrough onwards. You should be able to tackle all Expert Trials now on officer difficulty. There's also lots of alternate missions for story missions so make sure to do them now so they get registered in your mission list. Lastly, you get a nice alternate ending in the Rubicus.

Another question, this earning 150k SP. Do i have to have it as currency SP or total earned SP? Meaning like i need to have 150k SP pts to unlock it or just have it as a total earned even when i spend it?
RegaliaRemix Sep 7, 2015 @ 9:39pm
Total earned. You can spend it before you get the 150k, but it's probably easier to leave it so you can keep track how much more you need to collect.

In terms of the 4 cutscenes in chapter 8. They don't seem to appear for me. I don't understand, and it's really frustrating.
