For example in FFX i had almost all Ultima Weapons and did grind like hell at the end the boss took me like 3 hits to beat him it was similar with FF7 :D. However FF does often have hidden Bosses that are like the real bosses, again FFX you could beat all dark bestias (already hard enough ;D ) and then fight "The Judge" .
The "final boss" is impossible to lose to. It is another one of those scripted events. You have to let everyone killed and then everyone is reborn and is completely imune to any attack the boss does then after absorbing the phantoma, they just die then switch to another character. I really wish the boss wasn't another scripted battle that was made for you to just win.
At least the final 'boss' wasn't as bad as the one in Fable 2.
But not always, FF 13 final boss not that easy in first playthrough.
