which one? If you fought those lv.99 dinosaurs then it's working as intended. You supposed to avoid them early in the game.

If the enemies are giving you a hard time, grind for a while. Is always nice be at least 10 levels higher.

You are asking for it, dude. This game is based on % difference in attack and defense rating, not by raw numbers. Enemies merely 10 levels above you will do at least 1000 bonus damage against you on Officer due to their higher attack rating and your lower defense rating, so imagine it on Agito, which can be 30 or 40 levels above you.

Yes, having that 10 extra defense at a low level from an accessory will help.

One way to level is to use the Secret Training glitch, not available until I think Chapter 2 or 3 onwards. Select a character, talk to the right arena npc. Once you are back on the main menu, turn your clock two days forward and load game. Your character will level about 3 or 4 times. Turn the clock back, talk to the npc and repeat.
