Can you put the elevator battery to the forklift?

When you acquire the battery you use it for the lift, and later in game you find the empty battery and use the battery acid to charge it up and use for the forklift.

But what if you take out the battery from the elevator and place it to the forklift what happens? Can it work that way? Or the game doesnt allow you to take out the battery from the elevator?

I finished the game, so i can't try it :D

They are different batteries. The elevator uses a very high-power battery, which has different electric characteristics (can discharge a high amount of power for heavy workload vs. the long-term using time of standard batteries). It is actually a rather realistic reason why you cannot interchange them.
