Stuck at Normal Mode
Hey Guys.

I need some help. I just started with the Normal Mode and can't get past the Centurion.

The main problem is the ammo. There is so less on normal mode. Its impossible to dodge the zombies on the train. Even if I shot them down (leg shot) the chars don't run past them. So I need alomost all ammo to shot the zombies dead.

The ammo for the shot gun disappears on the most zombies plus crawlers so I have only the grenade launcher with 6 shot and some handgun ammo leftThat isn't enough for the centurion!. What can I do to solve those issues?

Its simply annoying that I played the leech hunter modus for infinte ammo and can's use it in the normal modus. in RE1 the unlocked weapons were for all difficulties and not just for the already solved one. Why n ot here?

You can unlock infinite ammo for each difficulty, but it requires you to clear the game & leech Hunter on that difficulty.
You can knife the Centurion when it rears up, just bring some healing items as it can take time to kill it that way. I tried it & saved my ammo for the other bosses.

I wouldn't use the shotgun on zombies really, either avoid or use the handgun. You'll need it for more stronger enemies like the Hunters.

lol what? What did you do with you ammo? I play on hard and I had like 60 pistol bullets, 30 shotgun and 6 grenade launchers. On normal you get so much more ammo.
Cant avoid? Thats a lie, You can avoid them. Look at youtube, Still cant? than dont. Kill only one that really in the way. ()on train kill only dogs for example. Other enemies get replenished anyway so why bother?

First boss can even dmg you. YOu can just knife him to death saving both ammo and health.
Centurion needs 6 grenages and around 20 bullets to die,

Well I just finished the normal difficulty and to be honest its much harder that the hard mode of re1. The stupid bat swallowed 5 napalm grenades + 7 shotgun hits.

for the fights against the leech queen /first and second one) I had a lot of ammo. About the half went for the first one and at the end of the battle against the last one I had 1 magnum shot left. both chars were at critical status. the first one killed me one time and the second one I needed 3 times to beat. Idk how to manage that on hard without infinite ammo. :/

One funny thing I found out that run: After the second battle against proto tyrant I went back with billy to fetch stuff. At least I tried. As soon as I entered the room the tongue of a frog catched him. I could do nothing. It simply swallowed him. It was a tongue kiss he didn't want to have.

Oh and I alwasy try to dodge the zombies. I did it enough times with re1 but if two zombies block the way inside the train there is not much with dodge and run past. you can dodge one, then the second and while you dodge the second the first one is ready to attack again.

Dont afraid to take hits.Healing items are plenteful even on hard. Ammo is more important.
yes game is harder than RE1. Honestly I was surprised how easy re1 was unless you do a speedrun.
Bat is actually better killed with shotgun. Pistol and Launcher tend to miss a lot in that fight,

It feels like it, but in general RE0 is only slightly more difficult than RE1HD. The difficulty comes from the nearly double enemy count and how problematic eliminators can be.
Then again, in NG+ or in Wesker mode, the combat is mostly trivialised. :hexhappy:

I unlocked Wesker mode & it's pretty amusing being able to just use death stare on enemies.

Oh, yes. I've finished the Wesker Mode too. I seems as if it happened at the Normal Mode if I look at the amount of ammo but it was a lot easier. Plus there was the infinite ammo for the weapons already unlocked.

Okay, now I'm trying to get the Leech Hunter done. In my head I have a plan and want to know how it works. ^^
