Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead

Arma 2 OA Superpowers mission respawn not working.
Me and my friends like to do the superpowers mission but since the last update we dont seem to respawn anymore.
When my friend hosts the game we have the same problem.
Does anyone know why does happen and how to fix it?

I have the same problem. When I die in any of the Warfare (CTI) missions on multiplayer I can't respawn and have to restart the mission. All that happens is the camera zooms out for a top down view of my characters body. If i press Esc and click on respawn the camera then goes to to the friendly HQ with the same top down view and my character appears and dies instantly.
Same trouble here. If you know, how to fix this problem, please post a solution here or pm me. Thank you.

We all know, that this prob doesn't exist in 1.62 patch, but that's not a solution.
It's not just the package CTI games. It's doing same here with my editor-made mission containing the warfare module, and the mission was working perfectly fine before the patch update. It has to be something in the 1.63 patch. I'll probably use 1.62 again but hope they address the issue, I got all stoked reading the changelog they listed for the 1.63 release. Good stuff, but if the respawn's broke it's an MP no-go at this station - good for SP only.
I removed the death cam script lines from my custom warfare mission and the respawn worked. But that will only help with editor missions, doesn't help with the CTI package missions like Superpowers. Then I found the respawn map pop-up for nearby camps didn't appear.

So a conflict with the death cam scripting broke the respawns, and I'm thinking it's conflicting with the pop-up dialogs too.

Now I found the 1.63 has been spamming "undefined variable" messages to the .rpt file since download launch. Can't debug a custom mission with all that spew, so I have to roll back to 1.62 for the continued build.

Playing it on 1.63 was pretty fun though, once I got the respawns. Pretty smooth gameplay.

It's very cool, that you're trying to understand the core of this problem. Any ideas, how we can send this message to Bohemia? Or they're already working on it?
I joined BI's forums and am trying. I enjoy CTI Warfare gaming too much to just give it up. And learning the custom scripting to create new squads, bases, and to add in AI air units, radar and ACE to the game has been a blast. Sooo many memories:

PS: to further the previous post, I found it was not a cam loop but two instances of the script running (causing conflict) plus an undefined variable (causing script crash) that was breaking respawn. Once I adjusted those two things in the editor mission, the respawn functioned exactly as it should.

Very cool, but I guess, it'll be too difficult for us to fix the problem ourselves. So, I hope, that BI will see this solution (if you posted it on their forum or to support). GJ, man.
Is there any news for a fix for this ?
Goliath86 is working on the Corepatch, which is a config patch that corrects many of the errors detected under the new script interpreter. I provided him my list of fixes to Warfare. He's doing various modules/missions in steps and will hopefully add the Warfare fixes to the Corepatch in the near future, but no telling when. It's his own project at his own pace.

But he's done one outstanding job already.

Goliath86 just added the Warfare fixes to the Corepatch. when activated as an addon, respawn should work.

He also fixed the War Welcome mission.
