Installing DayZ without steam version or Arma II
I should probably elaborate. I boutght Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead from gamestop digital downloads. Can I install the DayZ mod through Steam or do I have to manually download and install it?

You have to use DayZ Commander(or PlayWithSix if you're planning to play other mods than DayZ), because the Steam version of DayZ is installed in a very specific location, and most likely will not work.

It's a very easy-to-use program and doesn't even require instructions on how to use it. It's that simple. Though if you need help, you can write a comment either here, or in this topic;
