The developers got a solid portion of the funds from Epic, and it was fair to ask for the exclusivity of the game in their store for some time in return. Guys I know it's already 1 year old, but it's not on Steam. It's 20 days before the anniversary when World of Goo 2 was released on Steam. So, in the comments, (of this discussion, not others) I want everyone to spam 'happy 1 year anniversary'!

the game crashes in cut scenes

As the title says. It was a fun little timesink and gave me motivation to re-visit levels when I ran out of goo. I miss that.
