Interested in playing this but is the core issue still a thing? Running Arch with 6 cores, but don't think I want to bother disabling cores if its still required.

Thought I'd post the fix I found for getting the game to run on my computer. I got the "game won't get past the loading screen because my computer has way more than 4 cores bs and looked for a fix. A lot of them were a bit outdated or sounded more complex than I felt comfortable doing. But at least with Windows 11 I found a pretty simple way to have my computer use only 4 cores (and not hard to switch it back to all cores when done w/ the game). Open up the Run program. This is only $1.70 on GMG at the moment, the lowest price it's ever been, and I liked Mars War Logs pretty well, enough so to play 12 hours (according to my Steam profile page) and finish the game.
