For anyone having any issue with the Windows version of the game

Either there's a start-up issue or a stuttering/slowness issue, the alternative build (running on a different engine) should help:

I got it by typing alternative in the box below the dropdown and trying again. Might not be the solution but worked for me

Alright, that was why the achievement wasn't unlocked even if I tried twice for the ending.

Anyway, good work! I'll use the non-beta version to unlock it, hope the save works.

The alternative version fixed the low framerate issues for me, but seem to have broken the print screen button; all screenshots taken in-game now only show the windows desktop. (playing in full screen, win10)

Are there another solution for 'RGSS player stopped working'?

Please quit Steam and start it again, if your game is set to the alternative build, it should download a small update, and now the Korean text should appear for the alternative build too.

Common causes for 'RGSS player stopped working' is having an antivirus software blocking the game files, or having special characters or non-Latin characters in your username, for the username issue there is a Troubleshooting Kit with the main build of the game that may fix it for you.

omg thanks, i've had stuttering and slowness problems since to the moon and i didnt even know there was an alternative D: if i had known sooner... to the moon wouldnt have been such a slow (hella slow) experience for me D: hoping to see achievements integrated on the alternatives too! ^^

Depending on the error you get while starting the main build, workarounds exist, like adding the game folder to your AV software’s whitelist, adding the game to DEP exceptions list, etc.
Can you please tell me what error you get with the main build?

When I launch game, screen resolutions changes to the lowest possible (I think, 640*480 or 800*600) and a "RGSS has stopped working" window appears. I have no choice but to close the game.
Windows Logs give me following details:
- broken module: RGSS104E.dll_unloaded
- exception code: 0xc0000005
No AV software installed. DEP is on a default setting, "Windows only".
