Getting caught in emergency exit chase makes the game no longer open

[destroyed root chakra]

I had to force close the game because the glitch effect wouldn't go away and I couldnt see the game. But now the game refuses to open with this error:

"Failed to initialize graphics.
Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date
drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled
3D acceleration in display settings.
InitializeEngineGraphics failed"

The game has opened fine up until this point, so I don't know whats causing this.

Playing on Fedora Linux using Steam's Proton.

Update: Restarting my pc has fixed the issue
