Softlocked broken menu after backrooms scare, unable to load game anymore.

I'm stuck on the spooky red & white menu screen with the fish after the jumpscare that comes in the backroom. There's nothing for me to interact with or click on and looking up a playthrough, there should be a broken menu on the screen. There isn't one for me. Maybe this is a bug with ultrawides, where the menu doesn't position correctly?

This is what I see: https://images.steamusercontent.com/ugc/12755870056847959167/4FDCB0A5DDAEFD82F36884AD872B9050724D7657/?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false

I somehow accidentally got the game to load after just randomly clicking about on my keyboard and I don't know what combination of key clicks caused the game to finally load. So, yea, it looks like the menu does not load properly on ultrawide monitors and is hidden off-screen or something. My monitor resolution is: 5120 x 1440 @ 144hz with vsync on.
