Brotherhood of Blood Rank Points?
I thought I was grinding tokens of spite for this covenant but I came across a wiki that said I need 500 rank points to max this covenant. W...T...F... please tell me this isn't the case. If I read it right, I can only get rank points from duels and from vanquishing blue phantoms. If I lose a duel I lose rank points.. I personally go about 50/50 in the arena, and that's worse or better on a good/bad day. It doesn't seem reasonable, at all, that I need 500 more wins than losses. I get invaded by a blue once in a blue moon but not enough to reliably grind rank points...

Uhg, first the lag stabbing now this... Dark Souls 2 is really grinding my gears this morning = (

BoB covenant is the worst. If you need the rewards it's easier to get to ng++ and buy everything from the ghost in drangleic castle.

Really I just want the great chaos fireball for the pyromancy achievement, but if 500 rank points is what it takes and the rank points work the way the wiki says they do than screw this covenant. I guess, like you said, I'm headed to ng++ to buy it.

Only the best and the cheapest (in a a way, the worst) players get to rank 3.

Yeah get a katana scrub and infuse it with dark, use resonant weapon and 1shot ppl like it's cool.

Or better yet chrystal magic weapon+ice rapier. Spam R1. Win.

And don't forget havel-clown costume.

Yeah, in vanilla I worked on all covenants except BoB, the ranking method just ain't worth it. Buying the spell in ng+2 is infinitely easier and less time consuming.

(The ranking requirements are also arguably why most invaders abuse every cheap or semi-broken mechanic in the game, instead of having fun. There is no fun allowed in ranking BoB.)

There are a lot of people that can get rank 1,2 or 3 without using a scrub build... This time i did it with Fume ugs and fume sword, no poise and no no-backstabb items.

If you want the rewards, buy them in NG++. If you want to rank up, learn how pvp works, learn to flow with the lag, it is possible, you can kill everyone. Only turtle katanas are a real pain in the ass.

it aint worth it, arena isn't even fun. Tryharding resonant kids in 3 out of 4 games. just do invasions

Killing a Blue is 2 guaranteed points though, I recommend more Blues, Sentinels... Rats, Basically anything but Bellkeepers.

This is sadly your easiest ticket to max rank in that thing they dare to call a covenant.

The Arena's instant queue is +/- 5 SL only, so if you can get an OP 1 million soul memory build while also being only level 35 or so, you'll pretty much always beat anyone in the arena between levels 30 and 40. However, after the 1 minute timer expires... you could face SL150's
