What the hell is that? Where is it coming from? I have a smooth and silky stone, but it only restores HP. What the hell?

Those are 2 birds...hidden in the nest...they are from the first 2 games in the franchise....

You dont use the stones, but leave them in the middle of the nest (one at a time) and you get random(ish) reward.

I call them the zohan birds....when they say smooth and silky it always reminds me of that stupid 'you dont mess with the zohan' movie.

To more accurately depict what Khaos was going for. The Souls series always has an NPC trading mechanism where you drop specific items near the birds. In the Things Betwixt, you'll find a bird nest which you can drop a ladder, I forget if the ladder is already down for SOTFS.

The items they accept are: Prism Stone, Small Smooth and Silky Stone, Smooth and Silky Stone, and Petrified Something.

You can only drop them in 1x, so stacks do not work. You can drop as many as you want. Then the items will be traded with the birds.

some other stuff you can drop in there as well...that list I linked showes what can be traded for what teir of prize. Keep a lookout for the hidden zombies as they ALWAYS drop the larger smooth stones.
