Stone Statue near third mist door in Things Betwixt
I only recently started playing Scholars of the First Sin and I am desperately trying to avoid wikis due to spoilers.

How do I get past this stone statue now blocking the third mist door? Is there an Item I may have missed in the early tutorial stages or do I come back to this a little later. I realise it probably has something to do with the branch of yore but I remember them being pretty pricey if my memory of DS II vanilla serves me right. Not that I can remember where or who sells them.

Yes, you're gonna need to use a Branch of Yore to remove that statue.

No, there aren't any Branches in Things Betwixt, so you'll have to come back later.

Considering what's behind the statue, you are probably better off using them elsewhere, only coming back once you've got some Branches to spare.

ummm there is a flask shard behind that statue... it's totally worth grabbing at your earliest convenience.

Sure, but imo there are some better uses for your first few branches. Hence the "coming back once you've got some spares". ;)
