Best program I have found for a PS3 controller. Emulates it like a 360 controller automatically, just install and you're good for every game.
If the program doesn't install everything properly, make sure to go into the properties of the *.exe and at the bottom next to security press the unblock button.
2. Using Motion Joy install the DS3 drivers.
3. Uninstall Motion Joy (its nasty stuff)
4. Download and Install Better DS3.
5. Profit.
Motion Joy (while it works its API is questionable and quite intrusive. After you use it to install your DS3 driver unistall that bad boy)

Better DS3 (its an offline motionjoy software. It allows you to use your ps3 controller as a direct input, xinput, or ps3 controller.

motioninjoy is not the same as the xinput wrapper. You should try it, it's alot better than motioninjoy. No more enabling controller with motioninjoy everytime you turn it on/restarting game to add more controllers/bsod screens.
and xinput wrapper doesn't offer direct input support or emulator support for the ds3 controller.
And the input wrapper is even easier. Install, and forget (change buttons if needed, at least on DS4). No need to even start that, just plug DS3/DS4 and it works just fine.
Better DS3.
Just read the above post.
