How to get access to the hidden contraption in Shulva?
You know, the one behind a bunch of statues. I already defeated the trio of graverobbers, but I can't seem to find where to jump. I ask cos information was very lacking through Google. Some messages say "try ranged battle, but eh... they can't be destroyed with arrows. Unless I have to use a specific one?

greatarrows work, also any kind of urn is able to destroy them

I don't have a greatbow, though, and can urns get that far? I'm hesitant to come back later cos if I have to shoot from somewhere after the boss room in the cave, I don't want to do the course all over again :/ Getting rid of those mobs is quite annoying.

trust me i destroyed those statues with the urns plenty of times, it might take some tries to get the right angle in which you have to throw them

Do you mean the one that is close to the Tower of Prayer bonfire? You can jump down on a raisable pillar that is just in front of the statues, then you will have an angle that lets you hit the top of it over the heads of the statues. Just go to the edge to the right of the tower that you need to climb to the reach the Tower of Prayer bonfire and you will see a grey platform that you can drop to.

I mean the one to the north of the bonfire (from the exit that leads to the dead end path). This contraption raises a platform that grants access to a cave ahead. Urns destroyed the statues for me, but not enough for me to be able to shoot the contraption :/ I guess I'll go look for a greatbow...

You can even shoot it between the statues, gotta have the right angle though. Or, just drop down to the platform and shoot it from down there.

I guess we meant the same thing but I understood it the wrong way for some reason xD Just dropped to the platform down below as you said and was able to shoot the head of the contraption from down there. Thx btw!

No worries, took me a while to figure out how to get to it too. In case you didn't know, the tree repairs all your equipped gear if you whip it, even items that are broken. Pretty handy!
