I did! Thanks for the suggestion. It's so nice to see colloquial sayings from the 1970's making a comeback! <3

it seems the guys who wrote the wikis played 6k hours
People without the DLCs in the original could be summoned here.
Where exactly does it say that it was specifically made for co-op? You can summon people everywhere in these games and a lot of people play it solo with no indication that the area is ''made for co-op''.
Still doesn't change my point. Co-op turns the game into a joke and you can still go through the area solo, it's not like they auto-summon things for you. Obviously it's gonna be hard for solo, especially if what you said is true and they designed it with co-op in mind.
3-5 min with them too. They are just as fast as player and follow you closely. Sometimes they ware even faster. And don't attack on anyone unless they are attack or you attack.
To be fair ds2 npc:s are lot smarter than in ds 3, where they can't even run straight line and attack on their own.
Each DLC has their own 'tough run to boss' area that has the weird 'tombstone' looking section at the very start of it.
It used to be that people that just had regular DS2 but not DLCs could still get temporary access by being summoned to assist others here, and these co-op phantom players would even get to have their own special gear drop chances of DLC gear since they can't interact with corpses/chests in that world.
Although this mattered less once SotFS version came out, which already has the DLC areas included.
They sound like horses, look kinda like antelope / deer, but they're probably supposed to be 'kirin', which is kinda like asian unicorn.
Or maybe they're just oversized ice pokemon.
