One way is to kill them, wait a thile untill the gravestone appiers on his place and you'll be able to summon him for souls...

Or another way is to get to the Cromwell the Pardoner and ask for pardon (i think it's free for the 1st time but every other ask for pardon will cost your level times 1000 souls)

dont worry he doesnt matter anyways as theres a whole another blacksmith in the game and the other does infusions which means he matters more so you can kill the in town one or pay for a pardon but ether or wont hurt well you will get a sin if you kill him i would just leave him alone and use the other smith but thats up to you

Both tips above are horrible (Tigrovica's first "tip"). Just try to get to Cromwell as fast as possible and use the free pardon. Of course you can use Steady Hand Mcduff in the meantime to upgrade your gear. Then don't swing your weapon around like a mindless hollow. It takes multiple swings (regardless of damage dealt) to aggro a npc so I don't know how you "accidentally" aggro'd Blacksmith Lenigrast.

only time i ever killed a npc my self was when i was messing around fireing out forrbidden suns in town like a moron lol and it takes more then one hit most of the time for a npc to get mad
