They usually put out an update every couple months, so one is probably getting close. People just found it interesting to see the dev's methods behind how the game is designed.

You can use the ctrl key when giving move orders to have them keep their current formation, dunno if this can be rotated or not, but it's a start at least.

The "disable unit" feature needs a little love. Trying to set up a game without game enders like the disco rave party and planetary chisel involves using a search engine and copy & pasting what amounts to a file / folder name. You can't save this info without resorting to an external text file. I just don't want to deal with some (a lot) matches becoming a "whoever can put up zenith first wins".

The disabled units box also accepts plain unit names, like 'Zenith' or 'Disco Rave Party'. So you don't have to search for their internal names. Also you can make presets for sets of game options with this system: https://zero-k.info/mediawiki/Custom_Modes
It still takes fiddling around with a text file though. Someone would need to make a button that saves custom modes from the current game setup.
