Why doesn't my anti-aliasing work?

When i check it it still is the same without it

Either it is being overwritten by your graphics card settings, or you are playing on a higher resolution which essentially invalidates the AA due to upscaling the image.

Downscale 2k or 4k to 1080p if you can (check the guides). It's far better than the actual AA

i have nvidia inspector to force SGSSAA on it so now it looks smooth
