I've just updated the Guard Break demo again, based on feedback collected over the past few months. It's still the same 60–90 minute opening section, but with a few improvements. Here are some of the changes:

• Clearer tutorials for core systems, plus a small Codex section in the menu

• Ability points are now partially restored when DEFENDING and when triggering a GUARD BREAK

• Battle UI now displays discovered enemy weaknesses

• New bug/feedback report tool (press F2 anytime)

• Some minor music tracks added (all music is still WIP)

• "Demo Progress" percentage in main menu

• World Map now viewable in the menu (location names unlock as you visit them, but only a few are revealed in the demo)

• General bug fixes and minor tweaks to dialogue, scenes, EXP, enemies, etc.

• A difficulty setting has been added. It’s functional, but still early and not fully tuned yet

As for overall progress on the game, it's currently fully playable from start to finish, with all major story beats, towns, dungeons, and bosses in place.

There’s still work to do- some battles need further tuning, and a few more music tracks need making, among other areas. After that, I’ll be doing multiple polish passes across the entire game.

I’ll likely run a larger private playtest later on with more of the game available.
