windowed mode?
since it's in early access I guess theoretically there's still a chance, so ... please, please, PLEEEEEASE add windowed mode to your game ... I beg you!! that's literally the only thing stopping me from playing any of the LEGO games (even though I own all of them)

Alt-tabbing works well from what I've seen. Just have some spreadsheet open in maximized window, then when boss is comming alt-tab to it.

forcing any application into a window should be supported by the OS, too. we shouldn't have to rely on the mercy of a thiord party developer.

It is, in any proper OS like Linux or even Mac.

i have used a mac for 5 years and never come across forcing windowed. most apps supported windowed mode, but it was nothing OSX could enforce

You can do that in mac. You'll have to use command prompt/terminal for that. Can't recall exact commands, but I know it's possible.

Whether it's to look at reference pictures while building or just to keep an eye on chat windows while playing, windowed mode is an absolute must.

Definitely needs windowed mode. I'm amazed, and pretty disappointed, that Windowed mode isn't available in a PC game in 2015. Devs, please get with the times. Both Windowed mode and Borderless Windowed are PC gaming standards these days. You need to implement these two options. Not just one or the other, but BOTH. Windowed AND Borderless Windowed mode. It's not 1995 anymore.

Agreed! This needs windowed mode, not keen on playing it for the first time after I found it doesnt support that.

Hey, I actually needed that. I remembered I was using borderless windowed mode to work with my Trinus Gyre/Cardboard setup, but I couldn't figure out why I couldn't find the feature in Skyrim anymore.

I used a mod, that's why I couldn't find it on my new setup. THANK YOU SO MUCH. You saved my sanity.

Don't usually care about windowed mode, but right now it's basically vital to run any of my games on Trinus Gyre and Cardboard. So, I'm in on this completely.

We are looking into getting windowed mode in, look out for it in future patch notes.
