Custom Lego Skins
It would be really fun to be able to add your favorite minifigure to to the game.

An equally interesting alternative would be a database of historical minifigures of Lego: such as Baron von Barron/Mr Hates, Johnny Thunder, King Kahuka, Sparks (Rock Raiders), King Leo, etc.

Or maybe if they get around to an external tool, Something to let us paint our own 'decals' for the minifig parts we've unlocked.

I'd like to see things like the minotaur head, Or the pirate's hook hands and such being unlocked along with the legs and bodies. :P

EDIT: And to prevent obscene or low quality stuff, If they end up with Workshop integration in the future just do something like CS:GO where skins must be voted on and pass a certain level of users vs postitive votes to accept it.

>get decals from LDD
>add them as minifigs
>let us color freely the parts (so you can be black or green or whatever you feel like)

Well, you shouldn't care what people do in their singleplayer games. For all I care people could have sking that is d-headed Hitler in their single player games. And when online MP comes in, you'd just ban people who wears obscene skins from your server, just like you do it in Minceraft.

Not always the best solution unless there's a whitelist/blacklist IP option.
There were a few custom skins being tested in LEGO Worlds while it was still moddable. It stopped being moddable.

It would also be a possibility to just have a huge variety of 'stickers' that the player may put onto their character. Such as necklaces, belts, pouches, smiles, etc. This would allow for way more customization than we currently have but also eliminate the problem of obscene character skins.

Yeah, that would be easy, as well as less complex.

I actually made face and torso textures for the Brickster from LEGO Island while LEGO Worlds could be modded. While he lacked the one blue hand and the backwards cap, it was just fun running around as a LEGO character from my childhood that I just adored, even if he was the bad guy.

A full range of control for your Minifig with decals and individual part coloring is definitely needed, at the very least in singleplayer, what they do in multiplayer is their decision as long as the players at least have the option to make a specific character with a stockpile of assets, such as items they wear around their neck, on their back, and hats of every kind from what they have now ranging back to the simple postman caps, the ball caps, and even the simple round haircut. Heck, even some base decals of famous LEGO minifigs they've made along with glassic ones from back in the 80's with those glassic simple mechanic overalls, the police torsos like in the old Police station (6384) and along with newer versions from the 90's and 2000's, even the spacemen of old and those countless recognizeable lego faces to the simple smile and up.

Seriously, customization of minifigs with given assest like hats and accessories pre-made and even custom made, imported decals decals til out heart's content is a requirement at this point, for singleplayer at the very least as I said, and hopefully the gang behind LEGO Worlds knows this and will add it at some point. Afterall, it encourages creativity.

Beg for workshop support with no restrictions. See where that goes.
