At this time, there has been no indication we will be receiving cross-play.

Drat. Thanks.

Cross play between any platform besides XBox One and PC is not a possibility, because we're not using hosted servers - our hosting machines are our own computers or consoles. Since the only even remotely compatible Operating Systems are M$, we are never going to see crossplay.

what do you mean? that we open the servers because there are non? crossplay would be possible at least between pc and ps4 if they would add it, the problem is ps4 and xbox, would work like on rocketleague then but yeah, for this they would need servers

Rocket League has cross platform play.

Rocket League uses centralized servers that can handle cross-OS traffic. Local hosting (like LEGO Worlds) prevents that because two completely different operating systems are not going to be able to communicate on the intimate level needed for a co-op game like this.

Sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me, but I will allow it.
