Okama Way is now "Oh Come My Way"? D:

Just wondering what your thoughts are on this? Okama are supposed to be a group of people, right? So whats up with "Oh Come My Way"? It annoys me a bit. Especially since Bon Kurei is one of my favorite characters because of Impel Down.

because its another ♥♥♥♥ up on the translation just like when I saw Zorro Having a flash back to his childhood rival who was refered to as a boy when its actually a girl.

Ya, it kind of irked me too when I saw that. I think who ever translated it thought it was Engrish instead of an actual word, since it does sound like Oh Come My Way when you hear it, and the way Bon Clay talks makes it even more like it.

ya, later on when he refers her to as She again.

Problem with some localization is that who ever translate does not know the base material much, he only gets the scripts without any background on it or complete context, and the way Japanese is written a lot of information is lost without context, especially since most particles don't really have genders, or plurals. It's like if in english you only had I, You, and It, nothing else.

yea but its just a few issues from what ive noticed nothing super breaking for me personally ive seen worse in anime fan dubs

I wish they did better. I could try to back them up, but when it all comes down to it, its all about money. Also wish I knew Japanese. Then I wouldn't have to worry about incorrect subtitles xD

yeah, I agree. Personally, I'm just happy to have the game, and for pc too :D but some things might just bother me a bit forever xD Unless they are fixed which isn't likely. btw, if you've played Xenoverse when it came out, way worse than this. Even had mixed up audio files so that Ginyu had Freizas lines or something like that. I forgot the specifics, just that Ginyu was involved xD

Also Law's injection shot didn't show as well as it radio knife being called injection shot. Another issue is that they called ivan a she although I guess it could fit.

Isn't more because they might not want to offend people who might know what that term could mean? The Zoro flashback one sounds like a genuine mistake, though.

would be awesome if they fixed it, like Xenoverse. Only thing is, this isn't as bad as Xenoverse was xD

I downloaded it and tried on release day i didnt run into that issue must have affected only a few select people. But yea im glad to have it id rather have it then bash the game because its not the most perfect thing ever....
