directx 11 needed BUG FIX THIS

Hi, I'm Jon. I rarely buy games, I just recently bought a game called state of decay one year survival edition, first game I bought in 2 years. Anyway heres the fun part. I download the game and get a issue and cant even launch the game, the first issue says direct x 11 needed for my laptop and my desktop says ullaunch aplication has stopped working. Now here is what I did to try to fix it. I tried redownloading directx11, I've verified the cache a million times. Then restarted still did not work. on both my laptop and desktop then I checked for computer updates to realize everything is up to date..... 10 HOURS OF SEARCHING AND READING FORUMS I STILL HAVE NOTHING AND THE GAME IS STILL BROKEN ON 2 DIFFERENT COMPUTERS....

Intel(R)Core(TM)i3-2370M CPU @ 2.40GHz
4GB RAM
64-bit operating system
Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit
memory 4096 RAM
13802MB avaialable
directx version= directx11
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family= chip

Current display mode= 1366x768 (32bit) (60Hz)

For error one dx11 required, you don't just need directx 11 installed, you have to have a direct x 11 capable graphics card, the latter you don't have(or former if you've not installed dx11). For the second if you've got a pc that's above minimum specs and you've reinstalled direct x11, the vcredist 2010 & 2012 you should also try verifying the game files.

I'm running a GeForce gtx260 all info I find shows in testing the 260 is quite a bit better then the 240

gtx260 doesn't support dx 11, your os does (which is why you can install dx11 files) but the card doesn't.

those are the required specs for State of Decay Year One, the ones you posted were for the original state of decay.

It may be possible to force the game to run with DX10 shaders. I only have the original SOD (waiting for the YOSE to be in a sale). But I play ARK which is severly un-optimized. So from the ARK forum...

Click ARK -> properties -> startup settings and type "-dx10" without the quotes.

You can also/instead of, add -sm4 to the Launch Parameter to use Shader Model 4 instead of DX11 shaders. Makes for a massive difference in FPS.

As far as i remember the intel(R) coreTM i7 cpu Q720 1.60ghz doesn't have an onboard graphics component. What is the graphics in your system?
