SOD 2 Community Size
So, seeing as I can't seem to find any forums for SOD 2.. I guess I'll post here.

I've got this one person in an allied enclave I'd really like to recruit. She's got a blank skill slot, and I've been looking for just such a person to hand off some skill books to.

Only problem? The game seems to think that I'm "at max community size". It won't let me recruit her, the option is entirely blanked out and that message is on top of it.

I've got 9 people, and I just let one of them go (I had two doctors, only skill I was doubled up on). It still thinks I'm maxed out, even though I literally just had 10 people. I've got 12 beds, so there's plenty of room..

Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? I know that 9 isn't the max, as I've hit 10 several times. In fact, whenever I let anyone go I get new people almost immediately until I hit 10 again.. so I'm pretty sure that's the max.

Did you use any 3rd party program?

The game just came out today, so I don't even think there are any third party programs to use? Mods aren't even a thing for this game so far.

Ah. That could be it. Maybe it's not possible to only recruit one of the three in the enclave, I have to take all of them. If so, that's incredibly annoying. I rather dislike being arbitrarily limited to only 10, even though I have room for far more than that. That's especially true given the importance of skills this time around, and the inability to really pick and choose what you get.

Edit: Nope, that's not it either. I just started a new game and was able to recruit someone from a nearby enclave. Upon trying it, it warned me that all the other members of the enclave would be disbanded. I only recruited the one I wanted, not the entire group.

Ive had the same on xbox. 9 community members. 10 beds. when i try to recruit it says my community is maximum size
