Bee Hive changed and or bugged as well since which update?

Being I stopped playing for a while as I didnt have time to start over when the awsome new updates came in, so not sure which update this change or bug happened. Bee hives dont stack, and every one I have come across hasnt spawned a bee or queen, even when attacked. Wasnt sure if it was a removed feature in an update, but looking at its description, it says it does so I gather its a bug, and if so no clue what update it happened in as I dont have any of the update programs except the latest. Might I suggest putting them up so if someone like me wants to check an earlier version, I can just select it from the steam menu?

Ok so I'd love to hear your input on this one... This is both a bug and a feature. We removed queen bee's but forgot to change the item description. The point of the queen bee just seems silly. It doesn't give you anything interesting and the only reward is the ability to move a bee hive. It's also highly annoying to new players who break the beehive only to find a boss battle on their hands. Our solution was to remove the queen bee altogether.
When the hive is broken it is supposed to spawn a bunch of bees. It's also supposed to spawn bees occasionally in general. This is a bug. Thanks for letting us know! We'll have it fixed in the final release.

Maybe have it so when enough bee hives are placed next to one another, like square formation, a queen bee is spawned, but much harder and better drops. Also, something like honey needs to be thrown into the square in order to spawn anything. Could even make it random so other critters come out.
