Is there an easy mode for kids?
My 7 year old kid was wants to play this game but after watching a couple videos I can see it could be an exercise in frustration haha. Is there perhaps an easier kids mode? or maybe I'm just doubting my kids bread skillz.

No easy mode. Being bread is not for the faint of heart. It gets easier with practice, but it's definitely a learning experience.

Just fail a couple of times in story mode and some magic marmalade will appear near to you. Manoeuvre the bread to that and you have infinite grip/edibility.

Yes. It's called Free Roam mode. You literally cannot fail it. It's probably the closest thing to "easy mode" that you can get on this game.

Fun fact: YOU HAVE TO BEAT THE STAGE TO UNLOCK IT.

Thats great. I myself have a 6 year old who thoroughly enjoys the game. You can complete any level much more easily by using the magic marmalade to become invulnerable which appears after a few failed attempts. Once you've completed the kitchen you will unlock free roam. But Id keep going and unlock the other modes as some of them are much easier to control. Bagel races were the first mode that my son found really easy to master and that became the hook for the other modes. Baguettes are pretty easy to use and before long you'll have the hang of controlling the slices.

I'd love to know how you get on?
