The only thing that upsets me about Radious is that the economy has been....adjusted. Ive only got three regions as the ERE right now (scorched earth policy, did it on purpose) and for whatever reason, im making 14k per turn with three full legions. Not sure I like that
Right?
Well depending on how powerful those provinces are that probably has more to do with your corruption level massively declining more than anything
Darthmod brought many of us the Empire we deserved. Favorite total war hands down. I first bumped into Radius mod on Atilla and it has definitely helped me enjoy the game more.
The mod is easy mode, that's why it is popular.
Well, first time ive ever tried Attila modded. And I will decide for myself whether or not the mod is "easy mode." If I play it and discover that the economy is hugely OP, and the AI doesnt account for it, then, MAYBE the mod makes the game to easy.
But if the game pumps up the economy, and the AI suddenly doubles or triples the number of armies it runs around with, then its not "easy mode" its a different zero factor.
Being able to afford armies in every part of your Empire fundamentally changes the difficulty. The mods also rebalance the units in a terrible way.
Then dont play it.
Nevermind him, his posts are non-sensical at best, or straight up troll posts as usual.
Guess that's one way of deflecting criticisms.
His unit mods are better, but they tend to make every faction pretty much the same. When every faction has every kind of unit at every tier there really isn't a reason to pick different factions.
and i tried darthmod shogun that day only because there seems no way to remove the annoying horo cuz all the other mods are outdated (he also has a lot of options in his mod like realistic colors and stuff)
he has his own game btw and is working on another one either a civil war one or napoleonic(there was a vote that day but didnt see which one won)
as for radious i tried it on a ere campaign a couple of months ago and it makes the public order easy to control kinda like rome II which is fine if u wanna see battles and dont wanna bother with buildings but i don't use it
