Even though I have possessions which 'should' give me access to the Mediterranean - Alexandria, Ptolemais, Carthago, etc.; so it does really impact your game.
Wait, I've played as Himyar and I could trade with other factions by sea. Maybe there is a province separating your capital from those settlements or it is some kind of bug.
Yeah, I figured, when I 'got to the other side' I would have access to the Mediterranean, but alas no such option.

I'm also planning on going Nuclear with the Sassanids - slowly building up a judaistic population, but as I've had peace with them from the outset, I intend to keep it that way until, which time that I have subdued the rest of Africa.
Not having a war on two fronts, means I can place three priests to quickly reduce the massive penalty for the Desert Faction's (read: +50% public unrest due to religious differences) trait.
You can change your captial in Total War: ATTILA !!!
